People of Asuwere - Logan Rogerson

Logan Rogerson knows what it means to move at pace - a professional footballer for Auckland FC and the All Whites, he’s spent most of his life chasing goals, quite literally. But in between matches, it’s the quieter moments that matter. In this interview, Logan opens up about the importance of being present, speaking up, and staying grounded - on and off the field.
We shot Logan in a few Asuwere pieces, along with a preview of upcoming AKA styles - dropping soon, exclusively at Asuwere.

- What's one thing you've learn worth sharing?
To just enjoy the moment. You know, it feels like yesterday I started playing football, and it’s been ten years since then, so I think it’s quite easy to get carried away with what’s ahead and lose track of the present.

- What's one habit that makes your day better?
I guess I’m quite lucky with football that I can be outside and exercise quite a bit, but even on my days off, I like to go in the gym or keep my body moving. And yeah, I always feel relatively better after a workout or getting outside. So yeah, just exercising really - getting out in the sun and the gym.

- What's one thing you would tell you youngers self?
Just to talk more. Open up a little bit more. Don’t bottle things up. And yeah, be a little bit better with communicating. I think if I communicated a little bit better when I was younger, it probably would have helped me solve a lot of issues I had when I was younger.
So, yeah. Just open up, talk more, and yeah - it’s okay to speak up.

- Whats your favourite Asuwere piece?
Probably this black, black tee.Athletic fit, slim fit.So yeah, I like wearing it a lot.
