5 ways to wear: Asuwere Tees
We all know the saying, less is more and to be honest, this also rings true when it comes to putting together a look. Consider the humble T-shirt; most of us look at these sartorial saviors as if they have a rather plain existence. The truth is, its actually one of the most versatile pieces, and it owes this to its simplicity. To prove this, we've pulled together 5 ways you can wear them, to help you save time where it matters, and get the most out of your wardrobe staples.
1. Regular Tee
We'll start with a classic tee, classic fit situation. Most of us do this already! And this does well to build a simple look that looks smart, and requires little to no effort. Our Pima tees are a good go-to for these, as they drape nicely, resist wrinklage, and are pre-shrunk (no surprises post-laundry).
2. Casual Fit Tees
If you're after something a bit more casual, opt for a more relaxed style, like our Recycled Cotton Tees. These are a little wider and drop off the shoulder a bit more. You'll notice the sleeves on this come a little further down the arms, landing between the bicep and elbow, as opposed to the standard fit which comes up a little higher.
Tip: Our Recycled Cotton tees give you a more relaxed fit, without adding unwanted length. You can find them here.
3. Layered casual + shirt
If the occasion is looking like a nocturnal one, or its getting a bit nippy outside, you can always build on the look by adding a smart button down shirt. Simply roll up the sleeve and leave unbuttoned for a more rounded look. Throw on your favourite shorts or pants and voilé. Minimum effort, maximum effect.
4. Tucked
For a more formal take on the tee, you can also rock it whilst tucked. The waistband creates a visual break between torso and legs, complimenting a more flattering silhouette and giving a taller appearance. The easiest part about this is that it can be further dressed up or down, by pairing with a light summer blazer or shacket, or untucking it.
5. Boxier Fit
If you like the fit and form of the regular tee, but enjoy a boxier cut, you can always enjoy both by sizing up in a regular fit tee - this gives you a bit more length on the torso, and achieves the off-shoulder look in look 2. Going up a size in summer can also be done with our Pima Tee, allowing you to achieve that same relaxed silhouette, without compromising on the breathability of Pima Cotton.
Low on tees? We can help with that.
